Born in 19th-century workshops, the American chore coat dressed workers who needed protection, room and freedom of movement. The G-S032 US Chore Coat from the G-Star Archetypes line brings it back in rigid selvedge denim, in an antique faded crossover wash.

It has a shirt collar, a button fastening, angled chest pockets, adjustable cuffs and reinforced seams. The selvedge denim is woven on traditional shuttle looms: it is dense and durable, with self-finished edges that don't fray.
